A former pupil of Sullivan (Class of 1987) Paul passed away suddenly on the 15th November, just days after his 54th birthday.
It breaks my heart to speak of Paul Bailie in the past tense. He was the best friend life could afford; every encounter with him was a joy, an immeasurable blessing. I loved him like a brother and would have trusted him with my life. To his wife, my dear friend Anne, much love x pic.twitter.com/4ysuzQBwFc

He was ordained as a minister in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland at Greenwell Street Presbyterian Church, Newtownards in 1995 where he served until he went to work in Kenya for the Presbyterian Church as an overseas missionary.
Upon his return to Northern Ireland in 2005 he began working for the charity Mission Africa and as Chief Executive his work brought him back to Africa on a regular basis.
Paul taught at the Union Theological College and Belfast Bible College and was a regular contributor to BBC Radio Ulster’s ‘Thought for the Day'.
On behalf of the Sullivan community we extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Anne and the entire family circle.
