Kirsty passed away on Thursday.
A former pupil of Sullivan (Class of 1994), Kirsty returned to the school in 2008, to the Mathematics Department, as a teacher, with a level of enthusiasm that never diminished. She was a passionate and dedicated teacher, focused on helping all pupils, regardless of ablity, to maximise their potential in the subject she loved.
Having previously taught in London and Malaysia, she brought a wealth of experience, fresh ideas and different perspectives, many of which have become embedded in the teaching within the Department.
Kirsty will be remembered by the those at the school for her positve outlook and for never being afraid of change or a challenge. She was level-headed, had a listening ear and spoke words of wisdom, always with good humour and a sense of fun. She was regarded by many as the ideal friend, colleague and teacher.
Kirsty will be greatly missed by the whole Sullivan community and our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends, in particular her husband Richard and her three children, Sophie, Ben and Finn.
