The photograph was taken at the school carol service, Mr Mairs' first since he took up his post at the beginning of November.
He's pictured here with Chris Peel (Headmaster from 2011-22), John Stevenson (Headmaster 1998-2010) and John Young (Headmaster from 1980 - 1998).
Rumours that they are founding a new singing group are, as yet, unconfirmed.
Mr Mairs came to Sullivan from Oldham Hulme Grammar School in Greater Manchester where he has been Principal for the past eight years.
