1. What years did you attend Sullivan?

Year 2012-2019

 

2. What were you like as a pupil?

I was a wee bit shy and weird at the start of my time at Sullivan, but I got a bit more confident as time went on.

 

3. How would your teachers describe you?

Hopefully as a decent bloke as I didn’t cause too much trouble.

 

4. Who was your favourite teacher?

All the maths department that I was taught by were very good teachers, and you could have a decent chat to them in the later years of school.

 

5. What were your favourite and least favourite subjects?

My favourite subjects were maths and physics, and my least favourite was English, mostly because I was terrible at it.

 

6. What is your best memory of Sullivan?

Leavers party because it was a really nice send off to our year, who were all really friendly, as well as formal which was pretty great as well!

 

7. Who would your ideal dinner party guests be? (5 dead or alive)

Paulo Nutini, Brian Cox, David Attenborough, David Mitchell and Martin Luther King

 

8. What did you want to be when you were younger?

Football player, and then when I got a bit older a tennis player.

 

9. What advice would you give to your younger self?

Grow your hair, you look like a tennis ball.

 

10. What is your proudest achievement?

Being part of organising the formal for our year because it was a great night and everyone who came seemed to really enjoy it, as well as the teachers!

 

11. What would be a good theme song for your life?

High Hopes – Paulo Nutini

 

12. What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?

Best purchase – an ice cream that I bought after completing my Duke of Edinburgh expedition, it was very much needed
Worst purchase – a plane ticket for June 2020

 

13. Tell us something that not many people know about you?

That I have met Rafa Nadal a couple times, in Majorca and at Queens tennis tournament in London.

 

14. What is your philosophy on life?

Perspective is key
