1. What years did you attend Sullivan?

2007 to 2009

 

2. What were you like as a pupil?
I would say I was a fairly relaxed student, never one to get in the bad books! However, I did love a chat!  I loved PE and put everything into that, and my results were a showcase of that.

 

3. How would your teachers describe you?

Chatty, friendly

 

4. Who was your favourite teacher?

Ms Good, because I loved PE! And she supported my dream in following my dream!

 

5. What was your least favourite subject?

Biology, I definitely got caught copying Ricky Waite!

 

6. What is your best memory of Sullivan?

 

The Common Room, and the community within that, always someone to chat to.

 

7. Who were your best friends at school?

Becky Eves and Becky Gaston

 

8. Who would your ideal dinner party guests be? (5 dead or alive)

Lewis Hamilton, my Mum, one of my snowboarding pals, they Love to Dance, probably Jamie Nicholls and Jenny Jones – 2 of my Olympic Teammates.

 

9. What did you want to be when you were younger?

A PE teacher or a Weather women

 

10. What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don't let what you do, or what other people tell you to do define you. 

 

11. What is your proudest achievement?

Probably being the first women in the World to Land a Double in Competition or filming a documentary in North Korea, called Running in North Korea….. that was special.

 

12. What would be a good theme song for your life?

I am a Women on a mission.

 

13. What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?

Probably a watch I bought with some prize money, which made money! Worst… probably an expensive pair of trainers!

 

14. Tell us something that not many people know about you?

I am a qualified yoga teacher

 

15. What is your philosophy on life?

Try something new every day, no matter how small it is, will keep your passion alive
