Head of Year 14 at the school, Lisa Moore, is hoping to hear from a few of our more recent alumni (those who have left school within the past 2-5 years) and who would be interested in coming into the school to talk to this year's Year 14 pupils and share their wisdom on life after school and moving on to university.

The talks will take place during class pastoral periods and Lisa is particularly keen that the volunteers share some of their experiences - things they wish they'd known when embarking on university, any of the pitfalls that might lie ahead but in the main, encouraging the pupils to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead by going to university.

Year 14 pupils are currently beginning their preparations for UCAS in earnest and having the opportunity to hear first hand from someone who has 'been there, done that' in recent years would be a great focus for them.
