Former pupil scoops two top podcast awards

BBC journalist Jordan Dunbar (Class of 2005) has scooped two awards at the recent British Podcast Awards for 'Blood on the Dance Floor', which is available on BBC Sounds.

'Blood on the Dance Floor' is a six-part podcast series presented by Jordan Dunbar which examines the murder of Darren Bradshaw, a gay RUC officer in Belfast in 1997, and the impact it had on Northern Ireland's LGBT community.

The series took the top awards in both the Documentary and True Crime categories at the recent British Podcast Awards.

 

Apple Podcasts have also named 'Blood On The Dance Floor' as one of its best podcasts of 2023, describing it as one of the 'most compelling podcasts of the year'.
