One of the ways that Sullivan Connect has been able to support the school is by connecting the staff in the Careers Department with former pupils who are able to assist with mock interviews, mentoring and by providing work experience.
Last year, we had a great response from alumni to the Career Department’s request for assistance with the delivery of the Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEAIG).
This support is essential to ensure that the school can provide an updated, relevant careers programme that best enables pupils to make informed educational and career choices, as well as facilitating the development of their skills base.
The school is extremely keen to build on the success experienced to date and is keen to extend its network of people and organisations who would be willing to support the delivery of the careers programme. This can be in various capacities, such as
