Louis finished school at Sullivan in 2022 and then went to Bow Street Academy in Dublin to study acting.
Bow Street Academy is the National Screen Acting School of Ireland, established in 2014 and home to some of the most advanced and practical screen acting courses and workshops in Ireland. Barry Keoghan, who won a BAFTA and was nominated for his performance in last year's 'The Banshees of Inisherin' is one of many notable alumni of Bow Street.
Louis is currently appearing in BBC NI's 'Hope Street' where he plays Shay, the cheeky but lovable returning character.
However he has also starred as the lead in a film called 'Silent Roar' which will debut on the prestigious opening night of the Edinburgh International Film Festival this summer. The festival runs from 18th - 23rd August 2023.
Silent Roar was filmed on the remote community of Uig, on Lewis in Scotland’s Western Isles and stars Ella Lily Hyland alongside Louis.
What a terrific achievement for one of our young former pupils - Louis is quite literally, definitely one to watch!
