Brothers, Dr Tyrone Dunbar (Class of 2000) and Jordan Dunbar (Class of 2005) are both working at the COP27

COP stands for Conference of the Parties and relates to the meeting of the countries signed up to the United Nations' Framework Convention on Climate Change where they come together to take action towards achieving the world's collective climate goals.

The 27th United Nations Climate Change conference is being held from 6 November until 18 November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Tyrone works at the Met Office and was involved with the IPCC report along with scientists from around the world, warning of the risks from global warming. He’s at COP27 talking about Met Office climate research and supporting the UK government in its climate negotiations.

Jordan is a climate presenter with the BBC and hosts the Climate Question, the BBCs climate change podcast on BBC World Service and is reporting live from Egypt.
